Angel Food Ministry

My sister told me about angel food ministry to try and save money. We filled our new chest freezer partially full this morning. Plus I picked up several boxes of lasagna with a meal deal at HEB. Rules

Along with learning the Ten Commandments, we are also talking about family rules. Here is a set of rules from our friends' school.

I Spy / Sardines Hide and Seek

Jamie has been dressing in all black this week to Spy on others - to find good deeds. Then we were invited to play Sardines - a hide and seek game in the dark - at church with our Sunday School class. She was so excited to wear all black and be the first to hide with her partner Mary in the dark. They hid under a desk in the room right next to us and it took awhile to find them. When you find them, you stay with them until all the seeker partners come. We played for 2 hours Saturday night.

Teacher Talent Show

The pictures from the video camera didn't come out very well but the 4th grade teachers were hilarious in the teacher talent show - acting and singing - It's in His Kiss! I laughed so hard. There were many silly song and dance acts for each grade level.

Anne is now wearing her 3-6 month clothes (which are mostly summer time - but it's 80 degrees here in February.) Anne was really good for us while the guys cooked dinner - chicken fried steak (and mashed potatoes with green bean casserole). Then we watched the Fireproof movie.

Kids Choice Camp Sunday night

Rose - sand art was fun (and dancing that I heard about)
Thorn - cotton candy machine would not spin right and I was covered in sugar like a spider web
