Swimming at the Quarries

Fishing

We went back to the quarries on Saturday and canoed and fished. Jamie caught 6 fish with help from Meemaw. Then we went swimming and it felt good to relax and float.

Uncle Travis on Decker Lake

Travis took James for about an hour ride on his sailboat - the Escape - on Decker Lake on Thursday night. Travis' first trip out he got tipped over by the wind. We decided to watch! And take pictures!

Jamie - Keep Austin Beautiful!

Jamie went back to the quarries to help clean up and paint a table to earn a Keep Austin Beautiful patch - like the boy scouts.

Jamie and I were very surprised on awards night. She was chosen from her cheer team as most improved. Will try to download video later.

We went to a lot of shows but there is so much action that my pictures are blurry. James took a water camera and sat up closer. His pictures might be better.

Seaworld - dolphins

Seaworld on Saturday

We went to Seaworld on Saturday for my birthday and it was crowded by lunchtime. It has changed a lot since we went 8 years ago. Steve Cochran and his family went with us. We enjoyed all the animals and shows. Lightning showed up in the late afternoon and we couldn't swim in the lagoon area. We have season passes so maybe next time we will swim first!

Back to Xtreme Adventures - VBS

There were adventures every day - like quad coasters and canoeing. My favorite part was the worship music time!

Cinderella

James took me to Red Lobster for my birthday dinner (paid for by my nieces). Jamie dressed up in her new Cinderella outfit for me. She wanted to surprise me so I had to wait downstairs and she was so beautiful.

Happy Birthday to me!

Jamie woke me up early to eat cake for breakfast! We made a lemon cake and she decorated it with blue icing stating Happy Birthday MOM! Will post a picture later.
