Anne and I went to the Teddy Bear Picnic day at art in the park. Now the girls are watching the movie on video - mom had taped it for Sha and Jamie when they were little.

Last week we had tons of bread - zucchini, pumpkin, banana and regular white.

Corpus Christi Beach photos

Beach photos June 2011 A friend went to Corpus Christi the week before we did and gave us ideas on how to go and save money. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Airport and drove a few minutes to the beach and the aquarium. It was beautiful.

Sha's 25th Birthday

Sha's 25th birthday Movie Theme was a hit! 25 gift cards from Lori and Michelle Jamie and I were in charge of wrapping gifts - lots of movies and decorating.

Austin Park and Pizza

Austin Park and Pizza Friday night we finally made it to Austin Park and Pizza for birthday fun. We went at twilight and it was cooler! Anne loved putt putt. Flashback to Jamie playing putt putt at age 2 following Sha and the youth group. There were bumper boats, gocarts, the little one car train, spinning teacups, a playground, etc. Jamie has been several times. She went for Emily's birthday party last Friday and did lots of rock climbing.

Green Pastures

Green Pastures We took Lori to see Green Pastures where Michelle is getting married in March 2012 so she could ask questions. Michelle also showed us her engagement ring.

Second Half of Lori's visit

Lori's visit continued June 2011 We went to Art in the Park in the morning and Soliel near the Oasis at night. It rained and cooled off to about 80 degrees.

Job search

I am looking for a full-time secretarial job if anyone hears of an opening. I can type about 70 wpm and have 17 years experience in that field. Thanks.

Summer School

Jamie signed up to attend a free 7 week pre-engineering summer school program at Huston-Tillotson University. She crocheted a messenger bag in about 2 weeks. She created the pattern herself. She is learning all the time. She decided to put a fish on her bag as a way to witness to others. Her faith has been tested and she has come out strong.

Vacation

Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christi June 2011 We loved the aquarium and splash park. We miss our VA aquarium. Anne loves the dolphins and seahorses.

Austin Zoo pictures

Austin zoo May 2011 This was Anne's first time to the zoo. We went with Callie and Tyler and the Cochran family.

Jamie and Aidan

Aidan and his mom have been very supportive of Jamie this year. At the end of school they came to her dance and we went to his musical. They have asked if they can hang out sometime this summer. They went with us to Half Price Books on Sunday and then came over to swim.

Jamie and Callie

Last weekend Callie came over and stayed with us for a few days. We went to the zoo and made memories. She brought over a pink horse for us to keep. I have lots of pictures to go through as usual. Today is the last day of school. We will miss our friends. Hope everyone has a good summer vacation.
