Trick or Treat again

As we walked in the door from church, Aidan called and asked Jamie to go trick or treating and to meet at the church. It took me a few minutes to remember that we saw them last year at Milwood - the neighborhood church. Jamie changed into a dr outfit. They had a great time.

Hillcrest Baptist Church Ultimate Pumpkin Party

Jamie dressed up as granny again this time with a dress and the gray wig. She was so funny. Jamie loved the cake walk; she won 4 times so I encouraged her to give away some. Anne loved the big slide. Gave me a heart attack every time she flew down it so fast. And then she didn't want to give Jamie a break and threw a fit. So we left early about 6 pm.

Neighbors

The neighbors invited us over for a Halloween birthday bbq. Then they stopped by with friends to trick or treat right as we were getting ready to go to our 2nd church event.

Butterfly Pumpkin

Sha carved our pumpkin this year. She did an awesome job! Jamie asked for butterflies in honor of Aunt Lori.

Graceland and State Fair

Lori got us fudge from the State Fair, an singing Elvis mug for me, and 2 Elvis bears for the girls.

Drive Thru

When we got home Friday night, Jamie and her dad made boxcars and a snack holder for popcorn for a drive thru movie night. Jamie and I saw it in Family Fun magazine.

Baby Park

Anne's favorite part was the baby park - full of colorful toys and balloons for babies!

Daddy's work - Trick or Treating

Jamie was an old lady and borrowed a long gray wig. Anne was a tinkerbell fairy (outfit from her Easter basket). We went to Daddy's work right after school and went trick or treating.

Thursday

I took the day off work and let Jamie stay home. We spent the day with Michelle - Lori and Jamie got their hair colored and cut. Jamie got low lights instead of highlights - darker shade stripes. Then we went shopping. Found a few Christmas presents for Anne and hair accessories for Jamie. Then we sat in traffic for an hour and just made it to meet Christine at the movie theater to see Secretariat - about the horse from VA. It was exciting!

Buca and the pink hat

We went to Buca for dinner one night and ate in the kitchen. (We used our last coupon from the Entertainment book which expires Nov 1st.) Lori bought Jamie a pink hat from the state fair; it looks like it belongs in the pink cadillac from Graceland. We all had fun trying it on. We had chicken cannelloni with alfredo sauce and stuffed shells - which had spicy Italian sausage in it. We liked the pictures especially the one with the girls eating spaghetti.

Tornadoes

My sister and niece stopped outside Dallas due to tornadoes. They went to a convenience store and they hid them in the freezer for awhile. An apartment blew away near by. Lord please protect my family. Hope they will be here by tomorrow.

O'Daniels

One of our friends had her baby dedicated today. She is an inspiration to me. Very positive!

Fresh Choice

Grandma chose Fresh Choice for her anniversary dinner. It has a huge buffet. Everyone loved the muffins and ice cream too. Found out they renewed their vows this morning at the Catholic Church as well. Congratulations!

Roses and Pictures for 40th Anniversary

The girls picked 5 roses for the 40th anniversary from the 5 grandkids. We also made a huge poster board card with their hand prints on it. Pictures of the 6 kids and 5 grand kids on the inside. Teresa and I each had separate family pictures taken to give them since it is hard to get our schedules together.
