Half Price Books
We went to Half Price Books due to a 20% off sale. Both of us had been reading Honey for a Child's Heart and making book wish lists for our kids. Of course, they like different things but we will keep trying. I found Time for Bed by Mem Fox; I have been reading her book about the importance of reading aloud to your kids on my breaks at work. I also found Iza Trapani - whom I love. Jamie liked a Fairy book.

Anne at "School"
Anne was my little "helper" with the cart for meals. She was waiting for me to open the door so we could go!
One day we only had 4 kids so we pulled out the big drum. They all took turns using the sticks.
Jamie found all the bananas in the cool whip. Lots of sensory opportunities.
Anne loved the Ashes Ashes we all fall down song and sang it in the car in the distance. I could see her lips moving. haha
Anne loved dressing up.
Anne was always in a car when I came to visit her on the playground.
Anne enjoyed the slides inside and outside.
Anne liked the kitchen (which fell apart on Friday). Now it's on our wish list for next year.
Cars, cars, cars!
Book Fair
I almost forgot about the book fair this time. It has been so busy. I miss volunteering. The librarian commented on Jamie picking out summer reading. Little does she know those books will all be read by next weekend. Jamie used some of her birthday money this time. We will be spending a lot of time at the library.
Mother's Day gifts
Jamie brought me breakfast in bed at girl scout camp on Mother's Day along with a frame she painted.
She also found a Thomas Kinkade card for me since she knows I love his artwork.
Sunday School gave us a picture of Anne and her blue eyes pop.
Anne's handprint. Finally got my phone pictures downloaded.

Max Lucado
I forgot to mention we got to hear Max Lucado speak as well right before the Stephen Curtis Chapman concert. The Lord is My Shepherd! It was an awesome day! Max writes a lot of books and talks to the kids on the Hermie videos also. Mom bought each of us one of his books - When God Whispers Your Name - when April died.

Perm
Today was perming class at Michelle's school. I have been waiting a year to get a perm done! I love my curly hair and it was done for free! Yeah! Wash and wear! Michelle worked on a mannequin - that is not my head! Another young lady named Kelly did my hair. She did a great job! The supervisor couldn't believe my hair was my own natural color - she said it's an AWG- Autumn Warm Gold!
Seaworld/concert
Sunday James and I went to Seaworld to hear Stephen Curtis Chapman (and his 2 sons) in concert - sponsored by our favorite radio station - K-Love! We had the best time. No kids, no lines, cool weather, awesome praise music all day.

Girl scout camp
Grandma Jacky went with Jamie on the girl scout campout to help with the box oven cooking. We got lucky this year and it was in a cabin.
They played lots of messy games - like spam toss and chocolate covered marsh mellow toss.
If you look closely, you can see the marsh mellow in mid air above Jamie's head. haha
Jamie's favorite part was kayaking.
Another fun part was the Wizard of Oz skit put on by the moms (and grandma). I got to see a video of it.
Jamie loves s'mores! I just missed the campfire arriving after 9 pm.
