Dad took the tug of war spot for Field Day last Friday. I forgot to download the pictures. Better late than never.

Jamie took pictures of the fondue pot that we unpacked. This was the best one! haha
Everyone enjoyed covering strawberries and frozen bananas with chocolate. YUM!

Memorial Day

We went to the cemetery and visited Andrew's grave site. There is a waterfall nearby also and I cried missing my mom. We stayed for the memorial service for the veterans. Then we went swimming in the backyard and at Balcones Pool. I didn't have my camera for the events of the day but we enjoyed swimming with our nephews Lucas and Timmy. Jamie saw a friend from school. She did a lot of underwater swimming. She even swam the length of the pool once. She has a new bathing suit - red, white and blue. Will have to get a picture soon.

Happy Birthday Emily

Jamie and Emily (and their moms) were friends at church when they were babies/toddlers. Now they've found each other again. Emily was sweet to invite us to her birthday party at Extreme Fun - inflatables! They had a great time on Thursday afternoon.

She begged her daddy to dance with her at the wedding.

Heard on the radio that the Chapman family lost their 5 year old adopted daughter - hit by a car in the driveway by their teenage son. Please keep them in your prayers.

Saturday - San Marcos

We had some time before the wedding Saturday night so we went for a ride on a glass bottom boat in San Marcos at Aquarena. We saw some cool fish and turtles. James went for a field trip here when he was young. It has changed a lot - it used to be the first theme park there.

After that we went for a swim at the hotel! Then back to Fischer Hall for 5 hours!
