New Car

Marti and Lori bought a new car with their inheritance.

Lighthouse memories

Pastor Barnes took us out in his boat today to Cape Henry Lighthouse and we said goodbye to mom and April. It was a beautiful day with blue skies and shining blue waters. We saw pods of dolphins swim close by to the boat. Pastor prayed for us and then played "Bridge over Troubled Waters" by Simon and Garfunkel. It was a perfect day. I didn't have the camera today (because it might get wet but we have our memories.)

Memories

We tossed feeling rocks into the water. We made a web from everyone's loved ones memories. The kids made memory boxes. There were lots of tools for turning grief into mourning.

Camp Lighthouse - Triple R Ranch

Jamie liked riding J.D. on Saturday at Triple R Ranch. She liked the freedom of being on her own. Jamie says bye bye to the horses! She will miss them! We also said goodbye to Dee Dee and Aunt April. We realize we are in the healing stage of our grief.

House

Our house sold in about a week's time. We are relocating to Austin, TX after April 30th.
