Mom Moments

My coworker and I had a talk recently about how much we miss our moms and how it's hard to deal with Mother's Day. The grief is overwhelming at holidays.

A friend asked me what I like best about being a mom. And my first thought was reading books to them. I love the church library and found Ten Little Ladybugs which still had the card in it date stamped March 2001 when I read it to Jamie when she was little.

I also love singing songs with them that my mom sang or played to me. Some nights I play the Rubber Ducky music really loud and we dance and then have fun in the bathtub. I blow bubbles often at school and at home.

I love teaching them about God and Jesus. I have been working so much I haven't done enough but counting down the weeks until summer vacation. Can't wait to get in the pool and show Annie how to swim like mom did for me. We love the water.

I love making memories with the girls!! I love dressing them up when they let me and taking lots of pictures.
