Painting

We are finally painting Jamie's room - one year later! We wanted to do it during Christmas break but Anne was sick and we had to wait. With Great Grandpa here, we have been trying to think of projects he could help with. We took out almost everything from Jamie's room this week except her bed, dresser, and bookcase. James went to Home Depot this morning and picked up the paint. There was a sale on today and lines were long. I took the kids shopping at Walmart while he painted the ceiling - light blue. Monday we all have the day off and Grandpa is coming over to help paint the walls; she requested light pink. Jamie is so happy. I thought of our friend Tracy and how she came over to teach me how to paint many years ago when we did Jamie's room at our 1st house in VA. Good memories!
