Snuggle time

Since James was home to help with Anne, Jamie and I spent most of the day in bed reading out loud together like we used to in summers past. She likes Andrew Clements at the moment and we had picked up several books from the library. Today we read The Landry News and The Report Card; I had seen them before at book clubs. They were interesting to read especially now that she is going into 5th grade. Good discussion.

We also read Sophie's World last week - separately and talked about it as well. One of my friends recommended some Christian book series - this one is called Faithgirlz. The girl had moved from TX to VA and had quite an imagination. It was interesting but there was some bullying involved in it.
