James' garden

James spent months working on his garden and now we are reaping some results. He has his own corn field in a corner of the yard. He ate his first ear of corn last week. He was so proud. He lost his corn field in Texas many years ago to a flood and now the Lord has blessed him with corn even in the VA humidity. Even Jamie's bean plant has done great; we have gotten over a dozen string beans from it. Monday night we had one squash for dinner. We each only get a few bites but it's fun to say it came from our garden. A friend had the bowl in front of him and didn't want to give it up.
