Anne's 3rd birthday

Anne had picture day at school on Friday so she wore a pretty dress with a Christmas tree on it. We took store bought mini cupcakes as instructed to the daycare/school. I actually left them by the door while putting on Anne's coat and had to go back home and get it. She was so happy! Saturday night we invited family and friends over for a dessert party. We made chocolate and vanilla pudding pies with cool whip and sprinkles. Trying to copy our friend Amy's idea for a pie party. Jamie and Anne liked them but the other kids wouldn't try them when they heard the word pie. So the others had ice cream with sprinkles - it worked. My best friend Marilyn offered to bring pumpkin pie and apple pie from Sam's which all the adults loved. Her granddaughter Caitlyn had a birthday Saturday too. Busy day! Grandma Jacky/Meemaw made Anne a cupcake apron same material as the dress she made over 10 years ago for Jamie. She hemmed it up and sewed it to her pants leg. haha! All the cousins made it. Jamie pulled out a balloon animal kit which turned into swords for all the kids and Uncle Travis joined the fun. My nieces came later and had gotten the same pink birthday girl bag. Tradition in our family how we all think alike for the same gift. I stayed up late talking to Sha until 11:30 at night. No extra hour of sleep for me! But I was glad she was able to come after work!
