State Capitol Tour

We went from the train to the State Capital for a free public tour. It is the largest of all state capitol buildings and is second in total size only to the National Capitol in Washington, D.C. It surpasses the National Capitol in height, rising almost 15 feet above its Washington counterpart. The dome has a star on the ceiling which is 8 feet across from tip to tip.
