Weekend

Jamie spent Friday afternoon making a kite at Grandma's house and then begged us to please go fly a kite for National Kite Day. We just made it to the park before dark but there was a game still going on so we had the bright light to fly our kite by for a few minutes. Really different experience! It got a little chilly. We also picked up her new glasses. She had a growth spurt and her vision changed quite a bit. We stopped by Barnes and Nobles to pick up a gift card for a friend and read several Easter stories to the kids. I miss doing that. They have storytime once a month - hope to go some time.

Saturday we were up early and at the shoe store when it opened. An hour later Jamie finally decided on a pair of shoes. We also visited Target, Dollar Tree, and Walmart today. Jamie got a bathing suit and a new blue dress with some early birthday money. We found lots of fun Easter toys and candy for the kids.
