Yogi Bear Jellystone Park at Canyon Lake

Last weekend, we stayed at a cottage and did some "indoor camping" at Yogi Bear at Canyon Lake. We used to go camping in the mountains of VA now we have the hill country in TX. I took Friday off and got the oil changed in the car. Then went to Sam's to get all the supplies - diapers, wipes, formula, etc. I spent hours packing. I quit at 8 pm and we did more Saturday morning before we left. It took about an hour and a half drive to get there. We read Little House in the Big Woods on the drive and in the cottage that weekend.

Grandma called and offered to go with Jamie to her girl scout overnight at Austin Science and Nature museum Friday night (or I would never have finished packing). They learned about owls and made smores. They learned how to crochet and stayed up most of the night. Made some memories.
