Balcones Park Field Trip

On Wednesday, we went on a "hike" to the waters park behind the pool at Balcones. I had no idea how much exploring there was to do there. We did about 5 hours of hiking including a lunch break. We had 27 kids and 3 adults. They wore face painting to look like Native Americans. They learned a lot about water quality and the rock cycle, etc. They earned beads for their nametags.
