Update/Unpacking
We have been on the go every night this week. Monday was Girl Scouts - African American girl scout visited and they made masks. Tuesday is square dancing. We missed our friends - the Boyd family - heard they are in England visiting another daughter. Wednesday we did not go to church but the girls unpacked the UPACK trailer. Our garage is packed and so is their shared room but it's in and done! Of course it rained! We have had late dinners and Jamie has gone to bed later too. Thursday Jamie went shopping with the cousins after school for several hours. She got a new Tinkerbell shirt and pjs. Later we watched the movie.
*Note: They got new bookcases and I got motivated. James went and got us 2 bookcases too. Then Jamie and I went to the mother daughter book club at the library. I started unpacking and found some more photo albums and scrapbooks. Sha loves looking through them and shares the memories with me (of our shared past and my mom). I love having the girls here with us! We are slowly adjusting to each other's schedules and habits. They are great helpers - babysitters, cleaners, dishwashers and shoppers! Friday night we finally stayed home (after picking up Charles from work-due to car issues), we had pizza for dinner and watched some of the Tinkerbell movie. We have a ton of movies to watch now and books to read. We read/listened to almost the whole American Girl Kit series today on our drive to Dallas. Sha has almost lost her voice from reading for hours (now she knows how I feel). More later.
